Alaina Gay, LGPC, Retired Police Officer

Hello! My name is Alaina Gay (She/Her), and I am a Licensed Master Social Worker in the State of Maryland. I hold a Master's degree in Criminal Justice Leadership and a Master of Social Work. I offer individual therapy to young adults and adults ages 18 and up who are experiencing anxiety, stress, depression, family trauma, communication struggles, and other challenges that can make it difficult to navigate daily life. I enjoy working with people from all backgrounds, including the LGBTQIA+ community.

I care deeply about supporting people to find joy and balance again. My goal is to create a warm, non-judgmental space where you feel safe sharing your struggles and experiences. I use evidence-based methods that are client-centered from a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy framework.

My approach focuses on meeting you exactly where you are. I know that everyone’s journey is different, and it is important to respect your story.

I hope that by offering a supportive and honest space, you will feel comfortable exploring anything that may be holding you back. Together, we will build a strong, trusting relationship and work as a team to help you reach your goals and create the life you want.

Through years of serving the community, I have learned that trust is one of the most important parts of a successful relationship. When we begin our journey together, I will do all that I can to ensure you feel heard, seen, and supported.

I am truly excited to work alongside you and support you in building and sustaining a life of fulfillment, purpose, and genuine happiness. I am available to meet with individuals across the state of Maryland. I can provide sessions either in person at our office in Baltimore City or online through our secure and private platform.
