I’m Dr. Vernon and I can help.

I am a licensed police and public safety psychologist (PsyD) in Virginia with experience at the local, state, and federal level. I am committed to using my professional skills to make quality psychological services accessible to people and organizations with unique needs. I’ll work collaboratively with you to clarify questions, develop useful answers, and provide clear, action-oriented next steps. 

I’m not a first responder, but I know how important it is that I “get it” and “get you”. Don’t be surprised to see me showing up in your spaces and places for ride-alongs, sit-alongs, and so-on. Gaining (and maintaining) your trust is one of my top priorities. I want to get to know you, even if you’re suspicious of me.
